Cost of Mediation
Bills gentle but no nonsense approach and commitment to the mediation process is all about getting both parties to the table to work through to a mutually acceptable agreement. Bill only accepts clients who are committed to avoiding the high cost, time and stress of litigation – which inevitably saves you time, money and gives you peace of mind. Each session is 3 hours and multiple sessions (the same day, week, month, quarter) may be required depending on each family’s unique personal needs. Session fees are $550 per session and a sliding fee scale is available on a case-by-case basis to the economically challenged members of our community.
To Get Started
A 1-hour initial consultation is done with each party to determine each person’s individual concerns and to establish the willingness to mediate. While every issue may not get resolved in Mediation, Bill will do his best to work with you to collectively to make as much progress as possible and avoid your outcome being left in the hands of an over burdened court system.
Each party to the dispute should schedule the 1-hour consultation separately and the fee for the consultation is $150 per party (side) – payable at least one week before the appointment. If for any reason the mediation process does not go forward the fee is non-refundable.
